Speaking of Honorable Women

I attended a memorable event on yesterday in Washington, DC representing BPW at the US Department of Labor’s Celebration of Women’s History Month – A Conversation with Honorable Sonia M. Sotomayor. I received a special inviation from US Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis and Women’s Bureau Director Sara Manzano-Diaz. This event highlighted the important roles that both Honorable Sotomayor and Secretary Solis play in breaking down the gender and culturally based stereotypes that keep women and girls from reaching their full potential.
